This is what I do when I decide I do not like a piece.
I had called this sculpture “Sand” and had it sitting in my studio for about a year. Last night I visualized firing it and where to put it in my house. I couldn’t visualize putting it anywhere. I noticed I did not want to look at it. Period.
So, this morning I destroyed it. Felt like the right thing to do and now that it is done, I am glad I did it.
